Elle's Daily Inspirations began in January 2009 as a personal challenge to fill at least one blank page per day with an inspirational thought and image. This exercise in personal discipline has been right on the path of my continuous growth and has allowed me to "create" freely without personal judgement. As a result of my daily discipline I have found my own "voice", and encourage you to allow yours to evolve, as well.
Hmmmm, now I know where the masters go to find inspiration and insight into the hidden things of life. There seems to be a sort of conundrum here; how to reconcile the need to be open and honest in a place that you go to hide. Is the paint a metaphor for the veneer we use to make ourselves look good? Or, does it reveal the naked truth that, although you are not invited to see me fully exposed, you are invited to see who I am?
How fitting that our honesty seems to always evolve in the confines of our bathrooms. Hmm?
