Sincere Honesty - December 14, 09

Being sincerely honest
is like painting
behind the
although no one else will
see it.

  1. How fitting that our honesty seems to always evolve in the confines of our bathrooms. Hmm?

  2. That is funny! Hadn't thought of it in that way.

  3. Hmmmm, now I know where the masters go to find inspiration and insight into the hidden things of life. There seems to be a sort of conundrum here; how to reconcile the need to be open and honest in a place that you go to hide. Is the paint a metaphor for the veneer we use to make ourselves look good? Or, does it reveal the naked truth that, although you are not invited to see me fully exposed, you are invited to see who I am?
